Starbucks Could Use Rose as Their Icon

What better perk for a favorite longtime volunteer to be recognized for years of attending to anxious families in a hospital’s surgical waiting room — often proffering coffee
to assuage their nerves — than having a coffee station in that same waiting area named for her. That’s what the Einstein Healthcare Network did, dedicating that station to Rose Feldsher, 90, who recently retired after 50 volunteer years. Sipping in the successful dedication (from left) are Susan Bernini, the healthcare network’s COO; Barbara Levy of volunteer services; the honoree; Laura Romano, director, department of volunteer, chaplaincy, language and cultural services; and Ellen Goldberg, manager, volunteer services.
