In anticipation of celebrating the Israelites’ emancipation from the Egyptians, the Old City Jewish Arts Center’s March exhibit is titled “Freedom.”

In anticipation of celebrating the Israelites’ emancipation from the Egyptians, the Old City Jewish Arts Center’s March exhibit is titled “Freedom.” Running through the end of March, the show features the works of artists like photographer Harvey Finkle (whose photographs, “Nepal” and “Nepal Bride”, can be seen at left), painter Catherine Bancroft, the father-daughter painters Shimon and Shirina Braun (you may have heard of the Haverford High student’s dedicating all of her proceeds to Alzheimer’s research in honor of her grandmother), the photographer Robin Roy and the painter Marlene Dubin.
