Purim Spiel III: Pay for Priority Seating at Shul!

0

This congregation is dispensing with High Holiday tickets and instituting a priority seating plan instead.

Our congregation, Darkaynu, like many congregations, is struggling to make budget. Of course, the High Holidays is the time when most synagogues bring in the most money through tickets and pledges. But selling tickets has become a necessary 'evil.' Our congregation has been struggling with the idea of not selling tickets this coming High Holidays. We've decided instead to take the idea from another synagogue to have people pay for priority seating.

The image here is the questionaire we've borrowed to help you determine your preferences. Of, course, if you do not wish priority seating, you do not have to pay for tickets.
