A Memorable Gathering for Museum


In miles, Philly might be a three-hour drive to Washington, D.C., but in its efforts to fuel the successs of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum there, Philly supporters feel like it’s just around the corner. That sentiment helped spark the first Philadelphia-hosted dinner recently honoring the museum, about to mark its 20th anniversary. Noting the role Philadelphia has played in helping sustain the museum (from left) are Abbe Avart, Lori and Ted Bernstein, Dr. Mark Avart, Miriam Bernstein and Barbara Freedman.
