At the center of things – as always – is Peter Max. He may never have lived in a yellow submarine but sure provided a vehicle for wonderful art of the Beatles and other celebs, especially during the '60s and '70s. The artist was hosted by Kim and Josh Miller, owners of Ocean Galleries in Stone Harbor, N.J., where Max has been a regular July 4 guest and spotlighted star for the past few summers. His "Colors From Above" exhibit went above and beyond crowd expectations. What can we say but … groovy!
