Lorrie and Kurt Lichtenfeld of Dresher and Paula and John Rauscher of South Carolina announce the engagement of their daughters, Susan Lichtenfeld and Janet Rauscher.
Susan earned a B.S. in Psychology from Penn State University and an M.S. in Counseling from West Chester University. She currently works as a Career Development Counselor with the Office of Workforce Development in Middlesex County, New Jersey.
Janet earned a B.A. magna cum laude in Art History and Classical Languages and Literatures from Agnes Scott College and an M.A. in History of Art from Indiana University-Bloomington. She is Associate Editor and Interpretive Manager at the Princeton University Art Museum.
Sharing in the couple’s happiness are siblings, Rabbis Ted and Miriam Midlarsky Lichtenfeld and Kate and Chas Davis, and nieces and nephews Tali, Ari, Shuli, and Cooper.
Susan is the granddaughter of Marti Bernard of Boynton Beach, Florida, and the late William Bernard and the late Annie and Theodore Lichtenfeld. Janet is the granddaughter of the late Esther and Walter Rauscher and the late Carrie and Ralph Fearer.
The couple resides in West Trenton, New Jersey, and is planning a May 2014 wedding.
