JEVS Human Services held its 15th annual Strictly Business Awards, handing out Business Leadership Awards to SugarHouse Casino and TD Bank.

The city's first casino, which opened in 2010, SugarHouse was nominated by the JEVS welfare-to-work programs and cited for going "a step beyond the traditional employer partnership by hosting on-site workshops and providing interview training and information sessions for JEVS’ clients seeking self-sufficiency."

TD Bank, nominated by JEVS hireAbility N.J., is one of the nation's 10 largest banks and a JEVS corporate partner.

Inspiration Awards went to LaRhonda Brunson, nominated by Orleans Technical Institute’s Human Services Program, and Maurice Teasley, nominated by The Choice is Yours.

The awards luncheon was held at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown Hotel, hosted by Erika von Tiehl of CBS3.
