Heresy or Authenticity: A History of Reform Judaism:
The second of a 2-part course with Rabbi Seymour Prystowsky, Rabbi Emeritus,
Cong. Or Ami
Part II will be held on Oct. 1, 8 and 15 from 7:31 – 9:00 PM.
Attendees do not need to have attended Part I.
Interested students are invited to attend all or some of the sessions.
In addition to being the Rabbi Emeritus of Or Ami, Rabbi Prystowsky received his Doctor of Divinity (honorus causa) from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. He also has a PhD from Dropsie University and certification as a family therapist from the Department of Family Psychiatry of the Eastern Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute. Dr. Prystowsky has published a number of periodicals and has lectured on both psychology and religion before many groups. He also served as adjunct professor in the Graduate Department of Chestnut Hill College. Rabbi Prystowsky is an engaging scholar and teacher.
