The results of a national survey of more than 1,600 American women revealed that they experience more anxiety and stress shopping for a bathing suit (52 percent) than having dental work done (42 percent).

With bathing-suit season in full swing, the American Dietetic Association recommends dairy foods as ideal for people trying to lose weight because they are great-tasting, satisfying and provide calcium, protein and other essential nutrients you need to burn more fat. The new USDA Dietary Guidelines recommend three servings a day of fat-free or low-fat dairy for overall better health.

Research indicates that eating three servings of milk, cheese or yogurt on a daily basis as part of a reduced-calorie diet can help burn more fat and give better results when it comes to trimming the waistline than just cutting calories alone.
