Once Upon a Neighborhood: Jewish Life in Strawberry Mansion, Logan and Oak Lane, 1919-1960

August 15, 2014 8:00 PM

Philadelphia Jewish Heritage Shabbat at Keneseth Israel.

A special visual service and illustrated presentation by Rabbi Lance Sussman and Joan Myerson Shrager celebrating Philadelphia's Jewish Neighborhoods from World War I to 1960. The Mansion, Logan and all the way to Cheltenham Ave. were once thriving Jewish neighborhoods in a multi-ethnic city. Join us to remember, to learn and to share memories of city sidewalks, trolleys, and family businesses galore.

Super Oneg to follow. Everyone welcome!
