Fresh Fest 2014
August 18, 2014 5:30 PM
Fresh Fest is a great way for students to learn about and become involved in Hillel and Jewish Life on campus. Last year, our largest Fresh Fest to date, welcomed 45 new students to campus and more than 130 people to our family dinner.
We begin with a family orientation dinner on Monday evening at which our student leaders welcome new students to campus, inform them about the numerous offerings both Hillel and Jewish life have to offer, answer questions about Taglit/Birthright Israel trips, and answer any other questions that students or parents may have.
Following dinner, students bid farewell to their families and the fun begins! New students will spend the next 18 hours or so with our student leadership team learning the ins and outs of campus life, getting a behind the scenes tour of campus, and participate in other fun surprise activities. The registration fees include the early move in fee paid to Temple University and you do not have to register with them or pay any additional fees for early move-in. The fees also include all programming fees, dinner on Monday evening, brunch and a mid-afternoon snack on Tuesday, and a Temple in Hebrew t-shirt.
The registration deadline is July 29.
For questions or more info, contact our Fresh Fest student co-chairs: David Dworkin or Rachel Older.
