Sherri Mandell’s 2004 memoir, The Blessing of a Broken Heart , has since been adapted into a play of the same name, written by playwright Todd Salovey and performed in Philadelphia by Theatre Ariel as part one of four of this year’s salon series.

A Bala Cynwyd native, Molly Lang wrote They’ll Be Callin’ Us Witches , a play that explores adolescent rage, violence and devilry, pushing the boundaries of morality and power.
