The Consulate of Israel to the Mid-Atlantic Region has put out a book of condolences in honor of former Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon.

Those wishing to sign the book can do so at the consulate's Philadelphia office (1880 JFK Boulevard, Suite 1818) during business hours today through Thursday, Jan. 16.

Email [email protected] or call 267-479-5803 to notify the consulate if you wish to come by to sign it.

Sharon was remembered as a man of courage and strength both on the battlefield and in the political arena during his public funeral today. He died on Jan. 11 at the Sheba Medical Center near Tel Aviv after eight years in a coma.
