Chabad seeks to be a "home away from home" for Jews on campus and offers a wealth of social, educational and spiritual programs at campuses across America and around the globe. At college, students are exposed to new ideas and experiences and Chabad seeks to ensure that students graduate as stronger and more empowered Jews than when they entered.

Rabbi Chaim Goldstein was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where his father serves as the Rabbi and director at the University of Michigan Campus for thirty six years. Rabbi Chaim attended the Michigan Jewish Institute for Advanced Studies. Then in 2005, went on to the Rabbinical College of America. He spent the following year in Israel, studying at Central Lubavitch Yeshiva and teaching at the Chabad Yeshiva in Safed, Israel. He received his rabbinic ordination from the Atlanta Rabbinical College. While there, he facilitated educational programs, classes, and holiday events for the Jewish community. Upon completion of his studies, Rabbi Chaim taught Chassidic philosophy and served as mentor at the Yeshiva in New Haven, CT.
