A small group of activists recognized that our Jewish community's progressive voice had become quiet on important domestic policy issues. We formed an action organization for positive change, and evolved into a vibrant agency for social action.

Aronchick in recognition of his distinguished contributions to social justice and equality for all people.

Guest speaker for the event is Patrick J. Murphy, Former U.S. Congressman and MSNBC Contributor.

The event will be held at Independence Visitor Center, One North Independence Mall West, 6th and Market Streets, Philadelphia, PA 19106.

The Jewish Social Policy Action Network was founded in 2003 to give voice to progressive social values.  We develop policy and action programs that express modern humanitarian principles drawn from Jewish tradition.  We work to advance equality and opportunity in our pluralistic democracy and to protect the Constitutional liberties and civil rights of Jews, other minorities, and the vulnerable in our society.  JSPAN attracts those who want to have an impact on local, national and international issues.
